Realised I hadn't de bugged it from my last ride, so a quick once over with paint cleaner to remove the excess weight before wazz zing to the dealers to register my number for the draw. Should have done it before lathering up though, it's bloody hot here today. Just cracked a tin of the black stuff and will go make a proper job of it while drinking it.
was away at the racing so only read this, quality was bang on the money...very happy with them. can be a bit fiddly to fit the brake level but got it after about five minutes.I have no pics atm but I will pm you the link for them.
Hadn't had the time to wash the bike since the run out to Loomies 2 weeks ago , so I gave it a wash today
Had a nice ride over to pick up the Harris Brake and Clutch Levers from Raphael, Nice bloke, threw in a Haynes manual and some leftover pro bolts, he also makes good brews (bit of a camp dog though )
Hi guys ! This is the very short and soft version of the original video which I removed from YouTube as you guys recommended.......
I've fitted my replacement 2nd hand starter/cut out switch so the bike doesn't have any issues starting and the headlights work correctly again, I've also the Harris Levers I bought from Raphael.
I fitted the Honda High Screen I got from JD. Thanks JD!! BEFORE - AFTER - Comparisons - Previous owner broke off the tabs... I also checked and recorded the current suspension settings I inherited with the bike... Which turn out to be absolute rubbish, but I knew that already... Front would dive alot under braking, rear was very stiff and bouncy... Then I checked max settings for all adjustments so I know what the full range was... Then I put the Dave Moss settings that were very similar to the Sport Bike Magazine settings, I will put it all in a spreadsheet today and put it up for you to see, and I will also explain my initial feelings about the changes... which are good feelings, bike feels better...
Today I picked up an allan key off the road... WITH MY REAR TYRE!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!! Very slow leak but a leak nonetheless.... Gutted!!! New tyre on its way... Time to break open the piggy bank!!
I noticed on Honda Suzuka 8 hour race bikes a sticker saying DREAM, as on the bike below; I contacted a sticker company who made me a couple of them up for me, the guy i dealt with also rides a HRC 09 blade Just need the suspension, wheels, HRC loom, HRC engine etc,etc to have my dream bike now
Fitted cheapo chinese £20 "pazzo-style" levers as recommended by Phantom... largely coz I wanted to see if I got on with the shape/shortness before taking the full £140 pazzo plunge... but these are so good, I might just keep them. Lined up next to my mates genuine pazzos, its hard to tell the difference......... pleased
Just got round to fitting my Lightech chain adjusters from MrB. Look nice but not overly impressed with the engineering or materials but they're on now. Gave the old girl a quick polish to, a lot of crap in Sunday's showers.
