What did you do to your bike today???

Gave mine a good wash today, got the obligatory vehicle washing sports direct mug out too

 

I have been polishing cars for years before i got the bike, the snowfoam step prevents damaging the paint, and since all the graphics are lacquered its not going to damage anything. I just clean the bike like I do to my cars

 

is it the hose you dont like? i still use a bucket too

and no, i dont remember the copper lol

 

oh, can someone take a pic of the inside of the front fairing please?

mine is white with overspray and i dont like it. you can see it in the pic of the bike with the BMW in the background

First time I’ve ever had to do this. Never liked looking at my radiator and here’s why ? It really is a big pile of crud ! Not had her long and one of those Xmas jobs that had to be done ! Can’t do any harm and surely help a bit. Avatar bike has always had clean rads and YZ’s even cleaner. My 900rrs always runs nice and cool but this rr5 seemed much hotter.
Will see if it makes a difference when I eventually get her out of the winter lock down.

 

i have a guard on mine, and its amazing how much dirt coats it. I cant believe it doesnt come with some sort of guard from the factory

 

As the MV is such a keeper are you not tempted to get it MOT’d again in 6 months so as not to be dicing with salty roads and inclement conditions?

 

Sure you can hopefully get a dry day, but there’s still the salt issue and low temps

Yeah you just request the color your after and the size. These were 70mm same as the OEM and he sends out 6 at a time. Not bad for £3.98 just takes some skill to apply as can be abit fiddly.
