Your rear wheel did 250-300 miles, your front about 100 ;)

Not exactly and mod or upgrade, but that'll surely follow ;)

This is what I did this Sunday. [IMG]

Bike is changing colours to the Pearl white/Graphite Black after this litle incident.

    Ah Jimbo - nightmare.
Which track and do you know what happened / why?

Good change to change the colour - Pearl white bodywork like rocking horse sh!t to find, but you will get there - how much is damaged? - could you ride it home again

There is a chance bodywork in UK may be easier to find than Sweden on ebay / breakers.

Local track here, Sturup Raceway. Only ridden there twice, and last time I said that I didn't like that turn. Right turn on top of an incline and no banking.
I leaned too much I suppose, footpeg and foot touched the ground and I could feel the front lifting a split second later and a lowsider was born. However as the bike glided
of towards the grass it got hold and thought it was a good idea to do a 10-point flip too!

Damage; all fairings except left side are wasted. Windshield, rearview-mirrors and right clip-on are write-offs. Rear "rail" is a bit twisted, not much so I might leave it.
However, I could ride it home on the backroads ;D

I found a dealer in AUS that has "fake" injection molds with correct colours for the white, not the cheapest so I expect fairly good fitment.
The rest I'll get from a close friend at Honda at ridiculously low prices.

An example; complete fairing set incl windshield: about 880£ incl VAT

AH - not good at all,

In the UK fairing sets from China are about £450 delivered with everything, pre painted - New subfraim (rear rail) from ebay in UK not too expensive and could help or bodywork will never fit.

I didn't want to take a chance on colour (they couldn't guarantee exact colour!) and fitment so I bought a full set of the Pearl Sunbeam White/Graphite black fairings from Honda.
A "massive" 820£ for a complete set (only the painted parts). The most expensive part is the tank fairing!

If I had bought it from a dealer I would have to pay about 2400£, but I have a very good friend at the right place.

Got very wet taking the bike for her MOT.

She passed, with an advisory that the brake light shouldn't really flash :(

Took delivery of new ECU and lockset for my 08 after I fried the old ECU in a moment of madness caused by neighbour who has nothing better to do when you are really busy working on something than just 'chat' and distract / wind you up. Then after the thing fecked up say 'oh I can see you are busy I will leave you to it'.... mad I was!

    Good Morning Slackers :)

I Rode the FireBlade to work today, I think I set a new PB as my hands were getting chilly.

Have no idea if I'll be out on her tomorrow as I'm dicking around with an electrical fault that popped up on the Horse trailer so MissB can use for a horse show on Sunday.......

    Oh yeah Sunday:
I'm off to The Aston Martin Factory in an Aston Martin...

Yes Chris, winter is now officially here. When I left Bridge last night I had to dig my crusty Buff out of the recesses of my leathers because of the draft blowing down my neck. It's the standard that the Met Office now use to officially to mark the beginning of the season.
