Not too sure of the symptoms for cct - will have a look... don’t scare me! There was no noise before it went in for service so I’d hope it’s unlikely to have suddenly gone when they serviced it - And I’d also hope they’d have noticed it... Will investigate further when the weather’s better!
Sorry lol.....yes I think the chances of it being the cct is probably low...and it's more a constant rattle but heres a link to a vid of one just in case https://www.1000rr.co.uk/threads/worrying-engine-noise.35733/
Don't worry too much - I had my CCT replaced late last year and had the head bearings replaced at the same time. The whole lot was done by my local Honda dealer for £360.
okay from what I recall it didn’t sound like that... got me all paranoid now... might have to go and have a poke at it tomorrow I wish I was in a position to be able to do more myself! Need my own garage and workshop etc rather than a scabby garage en bloc
After fitting some carbon fibre tank infills, I've started to get a bit of a carbon fetish and bought some seat infills, frame and swing arm covers: Chin
They were the last set, saving about £70. I paid £250. Would have been £320 if bought separately. I've already had a DHL tracking sent to me and they should be here on Wednesday. Seat infills were £75 Tank infills were £100 Chin
Went to insure Bike ....gone up £100 on last year plus 350 excess last year zero called Carol Nash and said no chance they asked if I could wait on the line for 20 to 25 mins so they could improve the renewal quote , I said no you can call me back they said they don't do that and if I could call back tommorow, no chance have cancelled renewing with them and will look elsewhere 404 quid no way ....we are just a number customer service is dead then they wonder why they lose trade ...
I will not go with anyone that says “ well we could do it cheaper” why the f didn’t they do it cheaper in the first place
Not quite today, but last week I had a low mileage 2014 shock put on my 42,000 mile 2009 Blade (and the suspension linkages all greased). Set the shock to factory settings at the weekend (many thanks again to John Tuck for providing copies of the later model owners manual suspension setting pages). Took it out for a ride tonight - what a difference - ride quality is really plush now, bike goes over bumps rather than crashing into them!
Delivery! Dry fit is really good and so is the workmanship. Fitting them on the weekend, if time permits: Chin
