Went for a hurl down among the little cluster of roads between the 77 and 737. Just scratching around taking random turn-offs as they appeared. Little bit of everything from blasting along the Lugton road to nadgery wee single trackers. Came back up the Stewarton road which has to be one of the most entertaining strips of tarmac in the area. It's all woops, dives and switchbacks. Great fun!
After over 10 years ownership, I changed the oil and filter myself for the first time. Always paid the dealer in the past. Used a K&N filter, Castrol fully synthetic 10W30 and a new sump washer and still had change from £40.
Refitted the (standard) 10 year old exhaust to my 2008 model after sanding it down and spraying with Hammerite high temperature matt black paint. Looks like new again! Sounds not bad too as I disconnected the noise control cable from the servo years ago.
Mate, I swear to God, once I saw the photo I had the same feeling! Luckily it's just some weird lighting/angle photo effect, the fork is straight... I've checked!

Niiiiiice!! Unfortunate about Portimao though ... am guessing by the photo you've got a place\live over there? I need to get myself on a Euro trackday.. hopefully next year when House stuff is finished and the nippers are another year older I can persuade the Mrs to let me get away for 3 or 4 days of Moto fun!
I live relatively close to Estoril (26kms) To Portimão it's a bit farther away (300kms)... I would simply go in a day earlier to set up, and either sleep in the pits or in the car, and after the "day" was done, I would either pack up and drive home or sleep in the car somewhere and drive home the next day.
Carbon frame and swing arm covers fitted today. Still have some cable ties on it until the Flexifix sets. Carbon engine cover is needed now, me thinks. Carbon air duct infill is in transit Chin
