Hi it's the new rx7v FIM racing waited for ages to get one that I liked..really pleased with it feels quality....l
Yes, a member on here mentioned the sale, so I had a gander and bought a goose. All the shirts here were a fiver each, so a no brainer to buy a few of each. Chin
This was last nights job: Came with some naff-looking metal grills in the vents so decided to ditch them. Must apologise for the non-motorised two wheels in the background... the secret is out!
Haha I think they actually look much more subtle in a coloured mudguard than in the carbon one - the silver mesh in mine stood out like a sore thumb. A black mesh might look quite smart - maybe I'll rattle-can it.
Despite my impressive Rossi leg dangle... I managed to drop it yesterday just in case anyone saw me on the junction shouting I hope you get piles and your cat dies at the old biddy who caused it lol Mostly cosmetic scrapes and scuffs thanks to all the protective bits on it....although the lever guard took a hit doing its job. Usually done more damage than this in the past dropping them so shows the value of forking out for extra protection!
I fell off my mountain bike once when some old biddy stopped with her dog in front of me....I had the cleated shoes on and couldn't get my foot out of the pedal in time so just stopped, then fell over sideways almost in slow motion. Anyway, hopefully your repairs wont cost too much
That’s a bugger, but its easily done though - at Southport yesterday a bloke and his wife/partner rolled up and not sure why but ended up just falling to the left A sickening crunch and two thuds as they went down. Lots of assistance in getting up and no injury’s bar pride. Hope you get it sorted soon.
Lol....that's why I never wear them on my mountain bike....I'd be permanently on the floor! Not bothering with repairs tbh. I can live with the scuffs etc. Sods law says it'll only get dinked again if I did get the panels etc sorted
After five long weeks I eventually got my bike back on the road. Having a burned out stator was an absolute nightmare! I bought two stators for my bike which didn't fit, even though they were for my year (apparently Honda do 3 different sizes for the same bike). So had to send them back! Honda wanted £400 for an OEM stator but couldn't get it until October due to import/ export restrictions. I decided to have the orignal stator re-wound by a 'expert company' that when returned, it looked like my 6 year old daughter had done it with her eyes closed wearing flippers on her hands. The garage put it in anyway and it blew 3 coils within 1 hour and less than 20 miles. So I sent that back after waiting weeks, still not recieved it back yet. Eventually I found an OEM stator online with only 5,500 miles on it and I had a new resistor regulator. The stator looked brand new and rides perfect now, what a months that's been.
Ahh it sucks but I think we've all done it! I took the sheila on the back of the bike to Loomies Cafe yesterday (pretty nervous, first time taking a pillion on the blade). It was heaving and some chap managed to drop his 600 in the car park. Collective breath in through the teeth, but lots of helping hands to get him back upright. I'd be mortified with that many witnesses, I think I dropped mine almost in private Long route back with a stop at the Duncton viewpoint on the A285:
