Evotech rad @ oil guards fitted. A little footery but a bit of patience and some swearing and its fitted. Also applied some ACF50 to the fasteners and bits and bobs that will get caked in crud.

Massive weight saving. Keep us posted on how she performs. A few people are on the fence about a lithi batt. I had a motobatt one which kept dying, turned out to be my starter motor. Tempted to retry it to be honest..

MOT done today, no advisories :) Was worried that the tyre plug or the LED bulbs might’ve been an issue but not at all.

6047 miles since the last MOT in April last year . I guess it is the equivalent of 2 years worth of riding though as I only tax it between April-September. Made maximum use of the MOT extension ;)

Now to remove that hideous full size plate! Doubt it’ll come out again now till next year so give it a nice clean, get it in the paddock stands and put the cover on :(

I've been looking to replace my battery as its shockingly lathergic turning over especially since changing to LED bulbs. I've got the standard Yuasa battery, some good reviews on motobox batteries too? What's this one like you've bought? Can it be put on a trickle charger if needed?

As mentioned previously I’ve been running this one for about 20 months now and (whilst I got the Lithium charger and have had no problems) many say unless you’ve an alarm or tracker that’s going to draw on the battery you dont need the charger

Yeah I've got a cat 1 datatool on mine mate. If I set the alarm off theirs not chance of starting the bike. This Yuasa battery is absolutely crap BUT I dont know how long it's been on the bike. Had the bike now 7 months and had a new stator on it so has to be the battery that's poor

I only changed it as I’m trying to shed as much weight off the bike as possible but I must admit it does spin up faster when starting,I have an optimate lithium charger which i have just in case but it’s recommended to charge the shido before fitting to condition the battery which I did and it only took 45mins to get it to full

My Honda Dealer fitted R&G Crash Bungs on the bike. They don't like doing stickers or vinyl, so I purchased them and fitted them myself.

As the replacement plastics have a different profile, I decided to make templates in paper and get them perfect, before cutting the stickers to fit them. The stickers were £50 each.. so measure twice, cut once!!

To me.. the flash of red makes all the difference.
