Too much salt about for going out, but warm enough to get it out of the shed to do some tinkering. Oil and filter done, air filter was like new so just blew threw to freshen up, brake fluid changed, rad guard removed, scrubbed, repainted and put back, the Philips white vision bulbs I got at new year fitted, tyre pressures topped up and a good polish to round off.

Already to go once the salts been washed away :)

Difficult to say in the daylight - the bulbs I had in were already a brighter than standard Philips, but these ones are a shade more blue white for sure

Bit the bullet and ordered a new carb for the mini moto yesterday afternoon, went for a higher spec one, fitted it, got it running (full chat all the time so required further investigations) then the bloody pull start snapped so got another one coming tomorrow. I really wanted to annoy my neighbours today. Will potentially drop the blade from the stand and let her see some daylight tomorrow after 6months. In two minds whether to tax it next week or wait until April this year. Chomping at the bit for a good summer though!

Finally fitted the Evotech tail tidy to the bike that I've had laying about for a month. Stuck on LED indicators too as the fried egg look was bugging me.

I fitted Biketek adjustable foot pegs yesterday.. and then immediately removed them because they just don’t work with my RR5’s standard rearsets. The bracket pushes the peg too far out so you cannot safely operate the brake or change gear without extreme inward foot angles ‍♂️ BC07B233-2303-4C9F-8F61-01F7FE4F8F5C.jpeg

I asked about this before ordering and did not get a conclusive answer. If there is tax surely it would have to be disclosed to the purchaser before ordering so they can make an informed choice. Cheapest uk ome is £75 more expensive so some riggle room.
