That looks great, do you not fancy joining the other one? Even if it was for the Scotland bit?

always done big miles mate but after an accident in 2019 that very nearly had me beat, I’m making the most out of it and ticking them off the list.

Yep, I would say waterproofs are first on the list lol

Managed to fit in some work on track bike build today...
GP Shift pattern mod with shaft support bracket,
Short levers fitted, cleaned and tidied the battery connectors with shrink wrap insulation (no pic).
Had a problem on the weekend as bike refused to run. Realised I couldn't hear the fuel pump pressurising the rails. Turned out to be corroded connectors in the unsealed(?!!) socket over the radiator. Tracked down some like for like replacements (HM090) should arrive for this weekend.
Nearly there... started looking at trackday availability April/May

Well rather than pay £250 to a dealer for what is essentially an oil change for the 1st service, I have ordered the parts myself and will carry out the service at the weekend. Total cost to me £68.79

Booked an MOT for tomorrow at half 8 in the morning. Bike had no belly pan on, needed the number plate swapping and had no idea where the big one was so had to go sort that tonight. Just checked the weather and it's the one morning its pissing down o_O

Got a pass :D Felt great to be back on it even though it was a bit wet.

Got an advisory and not for the exhaust this time.

    • Rear Lower Suspension pin, bush or joint worn but not resulting in excessive movement (5.3.4 (a) (i))
What do I need to do to sort that? They never mentioned it to me just said it passed but I'd checked online to compare my mileage from last MOT and noticed it.

Solved my floppy footpeg with a new spring and split pin from Fowler’s. Took all of 2 minutes but dragged it out for 10 so I could grab some R+R in the garage. She’s getting taxed next week and (fingers crossed) out out on Saturday.
