Fitted the carbon infill panel to the bike today. It's the Leo Vince carbon 1, and it fits really well and was pretty simple to fit to my Akra slip on. Oh and it looks mint Also fitted the rim stickers last week but never got a chance to post the pic
Thanks guys. It finished the exhaust off nicely. The weave of the fibre is a descent match for the akra so I would defo recommend it to anyone with an akro slip on.
Colin I am very interested in getting this for my bike as I have the same Akro, was it easy to fit, where did you get it from and how much ? Thanks
Got it from moorespeedracing.com mate. They also do rizoma stuff so beware and prepare to roast your credit card
Yup really like the rim decals. I only bought enough for 1 wheel incase I didn't like them once on, but am just going to order some more tonight for the fronts. It like it's been laser etched onto the wheel
Hi mate. I got it from moorespeedracing.com. It cost me £84. Fitting whise it was easy. Only thing that's a little fiddly was the clamp type bracket that goes on the exhaust. I found that putting it on the straight rather than on the bend, then sliding it round the bend into position solved it. All in it'll take you 20-30 mins tops.
I found some as well, see here: LEO VINCE CARBON HEAT SHIELD HONDA CBR1000RR 08-11 | Motorcycle Exhausts | Performance Parts CBR1000RR 2008-2011
Nice work there Colin ... you've got the gap right down with the infill panel . That takes a little time .. I know Deffo worth the effort
Finally got around to fitting HID headlight what a f---ing ball ache, i still need to tidy up the the loom for it but its up and running a crap pic from my phone
