Today I stripped the fairings off of the Blade and the Blackbird gave both of them an oil change. Shifted the exhaust a little bit on the Blade as it was sitting a bit too close to the swingarm, re-fitted the R&G numberplate hanger, and fitted the indicators back on in preperation for its first MOT next week. Also replaced the stubby ASV levers with black standard length levers. Just need to fit a new cam chain tensioner to the Blackbird next week, get them taxed, and that will be the 2 bikes back on the road again. Just need some sunshine and then its time for some fun again
Xenon eh .... cool as phuq !! Thinking seriously but this weekend its the seat cowl and spray if it needs it & braided hoses ... Si, if your serious I would really appreciate more info on product, price, fitting etc etc, I'm seriously thinking about sourcing a seperate light unit so I can have this as a bit of a project without the risk of cocking up and no having an alternative....
Just like to thank Si for all his help with the guidance in fitting these & Mr B for sourcing them. After a little coating of copper grease on the thread & Pro-Bolt nut, and some Lithium grease on the shaft
No dude, just the hids, low...was going to get projectors, but couldn`t find any decent priced s/h headlight units to butcher mate.
I bet you find that you will never need to use high beam again, as they will give off a much better brightness of light
Yorkshire Tyke your bike is looking awesome, love the way the stickers are placed, really sets the bike off IMO. Stunning.
