Gleaming kit, Dave. I love the Racefit gear. Bloke working down the road has one on his Fireblade. Lovely sound.
I got my new number plate and mounted to my new R&G tail tidy. And look what came in the post today! And I've got the day off tomorrow how handy!!
Im dead jealous mate! nice one. i see your from herts essex area, are you going to get a custom map, if so where you gonna go? cheers
Cheers Zipster, I found this place Motorbike Performance Centre Essex, Motorbike Tuning Centre Essex, Motorcycle Tuning Services Essex | Race Engineering they are next door to Ongar motorcycles in Dunmow. Ongar Triumph Motorcycles -The Centre of Motorcycling Excellence Mailed Simon there, and then popped in for a chat, he is an ex endurance racer and really seems to have allot of knowledge about dyno & suspension set up. And the price for the PCV+ 02 eliminator was very good. I hope to have the map done in a couple of weeks, I'll let you know. Hope they're not to far for you. Ozz
Fabbri screen arrived yesterday. Update the graphics on it to match the black one, although I ran out of Honda stickers, so I'll either order another one or maybe go for a forum sticker. Fitted. View from the tank mounted camera.
How will you stop the auto-focus from 'focusing' on the dash, as in the pic above, and keeping what you really want in focus from staying blurred? Can you force it to use a high aperture thus giving a good depth of field?
Thanks for the comment about the exhaust Dan. Rim stickers were from Ebay, I'll see if I can dig out the link later and pm it to you.
Took it out and rode it. Missus didn't like the pillion position. Wasn't helped by the seat being slightly slippy for her and the other she has been on with me being more upright. Still, after I took her back I went out for a few miles. Not enough, though.
Good point. I'll have to check it has Manual Focus and set it to infinity. I could go with stopping the aperture down, but that could cause problems with light levels. Fortunately there's plenty of time to experiment before Scotland :-D
So finally got out today for a ride. First impressions are its actually less harsh on full chat that below 5k. Throttle seems more responsive, but that may just be the fact I haven't road it since October and comparing it to the 929. Get the bike above 10k and going through the gears with the QS brought a huge smile to my face. Didn't have any ear plugs though, no surprise my ears are now ringing! Jimbo's said it smelt rich from behind, ave mpg doesn't seemed to have altered but will be getting a PCV regardless.
put in for an m.o.t failed before i'd even started .....no reflector on back good ol' boy let me go grab one down the road quick other than that she was fine fine fine
