Dave used SDOC100 and it washed the colour from some of his fasteners! Be carful not to let it soak for too long, I'm not a fan after seeing the result.

365 for me rain or shine, probably do 15K miles a year. Blade gets done once a week on Saturdays without fail
Just joking Rinse, cheapo shampoo for the bike, rinse and chammy dry. ACF50 on wheel/swingarm when chain spray gets on my nerves. Every couple of months, Autoglym black polish. @6 months some swissol lovin.

I feel pretty lax when reading some of this Good rinse with the garden hose to soften everything off. Then a wash with hot Turtle Wax car shampoo using a microfibre mitt. Wheel brush to get into the tight spaces but not on the wheels, strangely. Then a damned good rinse to get the dirt and suds off. Dry down with microfibre towels. Couple of times a year I give it a coat of Meguiars Deep Crystal Carnauba Wax. That's it.
What's best for Bikes out of the following three Meguiars Wash products? Meguiars NXT Car Wash 1892ml Meguiars Ultimate Wash & Wax 1.42ltr Meguiars Gold Class Shampoo 1.9Ltr Can any of these be used in a Power Washers Snow Foam attachment or is that a special product, and would that be better? I know it's not a good idea to use a pressure washer on a Bike especially around the dash area etc, but snow foaming is far easier and gets in to all the places that would be difficult if done manually. I'd then rinse off with a Hose only and not use the pressure washer for rinsing. I've not got a pressure washer yet but am leaning towards this one for the Car as recommended by the Detailing Lads on the Merc Forum I frequent, so using the Snow Foam on the Bike makes sense. In my experience, I've tried all three of those and if you don't want to buy a special snow foam type shampoo, I'd use the Meguiars NXT car wash - it suds up a little more than the others and is a little more aggressive. I use one of these to hose down my bikes with a prewash before moving into the actual cleaning. Obviously not as good as a proper pressure washer, but a fraction of the price! S
I don't feel so bad now... I wd40 the wheels and wash the bike with whatever wash/wax is cheap from Halfords. Then I change the water in the bucket, add more wash wax and slosh a bit of that Zymöl stuff in cos it smells of bananas and cocunuts and stuff and wash it again and sweep the worst off with a squeegee and microfibre what's left. Then the wheels get rinsed off. And it ends up looking worse clean than most of the bikes on here do when dirty.
I use my mates Gran. She's just soooo cheap. I've asked her to get herself a bike lift tho cos the other day she fell out of her wheelchair trying to get at the underside. I felt a bit bad about that cos she spilled a drop of liquid polish on the lounge carpet and that took her ages to get out and I was trying to see the F1 on the telly. What a day that was.
