Don't over panic mate, you might have one that works, and if not, it's not all lost, you learn to ride around it when they do fail, just in my case eventually it becomes a bit tiresome playing Russian roulette, and like most who suffer, you chuck the towel in.

The base product is a very decent bike, hence why I have gone back to a non ABS model.

to be honest if i was on a non ABS i dont think it would be the blade dont get me wrong i love the bike but take away the key safety feature add a £11k price tag and there are some serious alternatives some with traction control........my fingers are in my ears if you even type the word traction control lol

TBH, you might hear the front modulator sounding like its got indigestion, being able to pull the lever back to the bar when it's ticking over, then lots of gurgling from the mod, but the party trick on mine was pulling the lever at speed (as in pick any number you like) and it went straight back to the bar as if it was not connected to anything ( which at that point I think the comminication between the lever and the ABS computer was defunct), but panic not, normally coming off the lever and back on produces some retardation.

Every owner that had problems has their theories, but the bottom line is that multiple owners from all around the planet surely can't all be ganging up on Honda and making it up...can they?.............now there's a conspiracy theory suggestion, I mean even some mainstream biking publications have reported the same issues....but strangely only ever seem to report it once........and then they go all shy and don't mention it again or even reply to e mails when you write to them.....but lets go there on that particular theory

No the petrol tank noise is normal on 2014 Blades, its 2 valves balancing pressure inside the tank ( thanks to Mr B for clearing that one up)

If I were you I would talk to your dealer, just to express your concerns.
As Dave says they will deny all knowledge etc etc, but at least that way if you are unlucky enough to have it happen.
You can go right back and say "hang about knob head I asked you about this at the start and you said 'no problem'"
But please, please don't due anything stooopid...like buying a beemer! good gawd man thats like cutting your knob off cos your heard theres STis about!

Have fun matey, Im off to work.

Since switching to a 55 rear, I am nowhere near the edge of my PR3s; its shameful haha. I do lean her over & can get a wriggle on when the mood takes but still have a good inch left on the rear; though only a little on the front. My lad is very smooth through the turns & leans his R1 over very far indeed, but still has an inch or so of unused 55 rear. On the other hand, a mate who doesn't lean much at all, has worn his to the edge; he is a big lad so I put it down to the tyre squish.

Regarding ABS, keep it maintained & get into the habit of cleanly braking & releasing the lever all the way; don't feather the lever & it will probably be trouble free.

Mine has ABS and thankfully never experienced any problems like some members.
I'll be honest and say it's something that's at the back of my mind after giving it the beans and slowing down for a tight corner though.
It probably helps that I cross my fingers while pulling the lever...
