replied to a few smart arse comments on my liveleak vids then hunted out the hairdryer to go add some more decals to my bike.
Stole a few hours on the bike this morning, roads were dampish in places but it was SO GOOD to be out.100 miles and then the mist/fog/cold rolled in so made it home by 2ish. I saw a Repsol out,Repsol jacket......heading towards Bury St Eds....anyone here?
Went out a spin in the car first thing this morning, then back to get it washed n waxed before tackling the valve clearances on the SP. Didn't get to do the valve clearances though as my dads car broke a front spring, and with him shouting and swearing I decided that it was time that he put down the tools and handed them over.
Bike out Tesco filled up, brecky at (Tesco) then up to Southport nice blasts had walk about followed by Carvery at Wild Blundell on way home B-)
For the 2nd time this weekend got the V4 out, god I for got how good it sound when your wind it on Only down side was having new tyres to scrub in with road that still had lots damp patches and lot of salt dust on them today, so a big clean was in order when I got back today, hmm shine bike !!
Getting bike ready for track takes priority over 2 stickers at mo ha ha . Spent that much on it I ain't got the money for electricity for the hair dryer to take them off
done my 1st longish ride today 250 mile round trip up the old roads to bridge in exeter then back home the plymouth st austell route . must admit i found the bike really comfy and could have gone out again when i got home trouble is she is caggled now so another 2 hour clean required did see a nice 10 plate black and white blade at bridge with a yoshi pipe on dont know if its anyone on here dont no if anyone else noticed but it was a bit breezy today especially over the moors
ah bo%^ocks I knew I forgot to do something. fitted new decals then went for a quick 20 mile spin. ah well its another reason to go do some more work on the bike.
Just finished watching that new film Django unchained and I have to say That I really enjoyed it. Has a bit of a Sergio Leone feel to it if a little bit Ott with the blood splatter.
I've not met him he's recently joined and comes from Torquay. Here's his intro thread. http://1000rr.co.uk/new-members/8886.htm
yeh pretty sure it was mate i recognise the red wheel rims ,bit of a shame really as he was just leaving as i had just turned up,bike did look good tho. he prob looked at mine and thought get on with the mods,i have a tail tidy still in the box,all original stickers inc swingarm (phantom loves them) and the bike was covered in mud stains from going through a big farm puddle out fingle way
I put a bit of time in making mine back to as near standard as I could so by that token he'd have had a shit fit if I'd been out.
I just had this delivered and my old ruck sack fits inside it lol Cheers Matt great service, great price Also had the Ducati picked up by dealer in his van as it wouldn't start ...... Wait for abuse ..... Lol To be fair I think the Datatool alarm is to blame ! So its coming off
