not been online Friday 4 hours riding in the Abu Dhabi desert , then Metallica concert . Sat cruised around the F1 circuit then spent 5 hours at Ferrari world . sunday lunch on the beach and 2 meeting , watched Moto GP . Monday meeting in the Morning shopping in Dubai . now sitting at the airport waiting to fly home
Spent all afternoon looking at 675's with the wife, she couldn't decide which colour and was gutted when she decided that the basic felt better to sit on than the R. Went from this: To this, which was nice but loads of cash with the bits on To this: But by chance spotted the bike Jo fell in love with instantly. Sat on it and said it just felt right, so we bought it. Only thing is she now has to pass her full licence! Got home and all she's done is show me YouTube clips and pictures of tail tidies! 1100 Evo, I actually really like it myself. Btw, that dude at the desk isn't me- pick it up Friday, Jimbo's already offered to scrub the new rubber that's been fitted.
oops looked and it wrong and thought it was a diavel lol http://1000rr.co.uk/pictures-videos/491-169.htm
Finally got round to removing the pillion pegs and found some chips on the rear panel, time for another paint defect warranty claim.
Nothing like an impulsive buy!! Although cant think of a better wed night cruise for YOU Dave... Lol Lovely bike though mate, well pleased for you... I mean Jo
I went to castle combe with a mate for the spring action day, we know a few of the drifters on there so blagged a ride but not all good cars
took my dad's bike to mot, got chatting to me about why was I not at the cookstown races today instead.friendly enough, just checked the lights and sent me on my way
Went house hunting today, can't say I enjoyed it much. All the houses were either too small, or to big and expensive. I did manage a ride out yesterday though, along with a couple of mates (shinysideup and HRCG). Tested out the US30 tailback and the waterproof phone case for the satnav app. All in prep for the Scotland tour. Both worked faultlessly.
Got the missus' old M plated NSR125 running after almost 3 years of sitting there. I love the smell of 2 stroke in the morning
35 degrees but still got a few sessions in , my mate was following for a few laps , it was a shame we had to cut the back end of the track off but it was under 1 foot of water so we cut the track short to miss it
