Yep I remember when it was all scalpels and tiny stitches, now it's all meat cleavers and gushing blood........I'm sure you'll be fine though!
Came home from my business trip to a shit load of post and the cats ignoring me, on the up side I got a huge kiss and a hug from L with a ‘ur on a promise look in her eye’ closely followed by a ‘off for a week’ size glass of wine. It was a boring trip of back to back meetings but at least I got to enjoy the weather eating outside every evening. And, and, I got to travel on BA’s new A380 double deck jumbo, made even better as I got up graded on the way out to a rear facing, hidden behind a privacy screen business class seat. (it was a training flight so the cabin dollies couldn’t do enough to make you happy, I swear she was wearing hold ups, so I guess it worked) No such luck on the return. TFI it’s the weekend and I have next week off and my new Panigale to look forward to the week after.
Really James, L and I would love to take a ride up but for £25 a pop, I don’t think so. Could you arrange it ? The thank you would involve beer recompense of course. No can do regarding the A380 that was just luck, but the return trip in cattle class on a normal air tug you wouldn’t want to inflict, not even on Dave if you found out he was shagging your Mrs.
We built it dude, wpuld have been easier to take you to the 90th with no glass on, no longer have much say on it, but ill see what I can do been up when we were building it obviously, and can't believe Lisa paid what she did, but soooo worth it, was excellent!
Cancel the 'on a promise' , L has buggered off to bed in a huff leaving me jet lagged, half pissed with a newly opened bottle of red, never mind, always tomorrow.
have mine booked too lol, hopefully will happen during a bad snow week as there is no way you can ride a bike for a few weeks after.
I cut the main wing spars and fail safe wing spars as well as the noise spars for the first batch of A380's.....can I get A flight or s discount flight on one....can I feck :s
LOL, we are on annual leave next week so that’s a given, it’s always the same, mother nature rears its kill joy head…… roll on the menopause is what I say, still, there is more than one way to skin a cat, now while you’re on your down there sweetheart …….
I've woken up really early, with a sense of excitement cos today I start to fit the scorpion exhaust. Anytime before 11 is early for me on a Saturday if I've been working the night before. Expect my sense of excitement to diminish gradually over the course of the day as I encounter difficulties and frustration with bolts or bits of plastic, turning to anger at around 4:30, followed by a f**k it rant at around 7pm which usually leads to grazed knuckles from excessive spannering and a face covered in muck and engine oil. Still, as of now I'm in a good mood and raring to go! But first, Morrisons to buy food and toxic chemicals which apparently are essential for keeping the house clean with the wife
Good luck Pete, I used to be really nervous taking the rear plastic off but now do it in sec's, it stretches alot more than you think it will, I'm unsure if its the correct way but I grab the right hand side stretch it out then over towards the left - job done! Putting back on hook the left over then stretch over the right then line up the big rubber bungs. You will brob need to take the 2 bolts out of the right rear set to get behind that lower heat shield as that's where the new exhaust will join on. Take your time mate won't take long
Cheers martin, I did a tail tidy a couple of months ago and I hate that feeling of taking the plastics off and thinking you're at the plastic breaking point, but I'll take as long as I need no rush! Hopefully pics to follow.
I am being conspired against! Despite getting up early I'm just about to start the exhaust as my other half threw loads of little jobs my way, (because I was going to spend all day having me time in the garage so it's only fair she said) they turned into several trips to town, drop offs of things to relatives that I doubt were urgent and could have waited until Sunday or Monday. Still, I'm taking all the garage keys with me and locking myself in with headphones on so I can't be disturbed now.
Dragged the bike out to give it the once over, check tyres, pressure, oil chain etc. now ready for a decent ride out tomorrow Not ridden properly in a month, so I need to get my riding head back on and keep telling myself to look up, stay observational and lay off the front brake.
