Finally got the treader out to do some training and shift some weight. Only did 10 miles but just about averaged the 15mph I wanted to do. Going to sleep well tonight.
They say things come in 3's: First: The washing machine packed up just before Christmas; luckily I managed to get a next day delivery for the replacement motor brushes. So I have fixed that ,also replaced the belt at the same time. Second: While we were away the smaller chest freezer decided to stop working, it’s knackered and so is all the food. Third: We have spent all today clearing up all the mess from last night’s chimney fire........ The heat from the flames out the top has melted the TV ariel so guess what…….no TV now. We managed to put the fire out with a hose pipe dumping water down the chimney but you can imagine what happened in the house. What a bloody mess. From what I can see this morning the chimney pot has also broken.
Bought some tools today: Torque wrench 1/2" lever Feeler gauges Filter tool Pressure gauge Then me and paul the 6th tidied my garage since you were all disgusted last time!!! Then took all the fairings off the R6 and Fitted all the datatag stuff Removed the exhaust system to be sent away for modification Tried to remove the throttle as it was sticking and found that one of the nip bolts is completely rounded off and rusted up so I can't split the assembly to check it out!!! Grrr gonna have to drill the B@stard. not a happy bunny
Just done 5 days straight, completly redecorating our study. Completly fooked and looking forward to going back to work tomorrow for a rest. Also cleaned the lights and pumped up the tyres on the blade, ready for another months commuting grind.
Yup, me too!! Can't wait for the 6.22 train tomorrow Savoured a rare break in the rain and had a dry 2hour walk at lullingstone country park. Very nice too it was. Was a bit wet!! Dinner at the in laws and now home.... Just washed lexi as she was bogging!!
That's one appealing looking dog there Jimbo. Wonder how many 4 x 4 drivers have made muppetts of themselves in the ford in the last couple of weeks, a friend of ours misjudged it and bent a few rods over Christmas.
Cheers mate, she's cool, 4 1/2 months old now but good as gold tbh... Full of beans though. Lol Yup, was up pretty high.... Seen a couple go through there in the past then wish they hadn't.... Don't think many would have tried it yesterday though! It was pretty deep the other side of the bridge on the road side!!
Its bad enough at shoots. We had a £78k Range Rover got stuck cos he didn't know how to drive off road in thick mud.I went round him and put my trusty old le mans X5 in front and pull him out with my tow rope. The guy was speechless.I whispered a tip & told him to go on a 4x4 course. It helps you understand how to tackle different terrain. He paid for another round of clays as a thank you.But yes some are clueless.
Cheers mate. Yup, she will go and go if you let her, but limiting walks as too much can be damaging to there joints etc as you know. Been meaning to ask you when are you next on a clay shoot, wouldn't mind walking her round to get her used to the guns etc....
Detling shoot is back on 19th January,so you are welcome to walk round with my lot and have gander with her.Pm me your mobile or text me cos I lost your number when my phone packed up.
No probs mate, ill drop you a text later. Also lost my phone but ill get it off Dave lol Cheers fella - would appreciate that.
Been busy today Fitted sato hooks to my blade Plus zero gravity screen R&G engine casing protectors Then new oil and filter.
Been very busy today, fitted a few bits no bobs to Marion's blade And whilst on the ramp Marion did her first oil and filter change, and is a bit peeved that the last service cost her over £100 to do exactly what she's just done for £39 ( castrol power1 oil and k&N filter ).
