Do you know the only thing that i hate about this site is that as soon as you something about anything somebody somwere takes it personally ....Jonnyd i did not even see your post until i read the rest of it ..... sorry but lately your just hoping you dont affend someone... it was only something that i remembered a guy speaking to me about a couple of weeks ago..........and yes my bike is much better Maybe we should get a mod for this site
If I could understand that I might be able to respond appropriately, in the meantime I'll just say goodnight.
And one bike is built for road and track only and the other one is built for the road, track and off road ........ again different specs
So you're saying they're both built for road and track then? "Different specs" is exactly the point. They are built to different specs, so are strong in different areas. For instance, a CBR is great on a nice smooth road, a GS is better on a rougher road. So back to confirming the original point, which is that a GS will handle better on some roads (not tracks or off road).
I can't believe this disagreement is still trundling along, I guess the world would be a boring place if we all had the same tastes and opinions tho eh.
Move on Brothers !A bloke was dragged out of the sea last week after a shark bit his legs off (Now thats an issue!).
I'm not wanting to join in but will, if a gs 1200 no matter what pilot was onboard kept up with me on the (road) I'd sell my blade! Lol simple as that, horses for courses but gs1200 is not on with a blade.
How about this one.. you are coming up to your favorite bend and there is a car about 600yards ahead you know you can't catch him and overtake so you try to slow it down abit so he F**Ks off however as you slow he also slows so you end up both together going round at 40mph.
I had many a laugh in the twisties up against 'sports bikes' and gave quite a few of them a bit of a shock. My response was based on the above. In particular- (up against) nowt to do about going round bends at 40! Stupid argument all this really, but come on guys get real.
