Do you still have ur Taylor made exhaust if u fancey something different I have a arrow gp2 I would swap with u
I've the SC Project CRT, very happy with it, but very, very loud especially when cold. It's a keeper though...
I had fitted the Akrapovic Titanium Megaphone (S-H10SO11-T) end can fitted yesterday and its awesome. The can is LOUD (without baffle). The dealership gave me earplugs! (didn't use them!) It growls at tick over with a throaty burble. Its sounds a bit rough below 4000rpm - like a MotoGP bike on rev limiter. But once you get it opened up - it sounds awesome. It set off a car alarm in Honda's car park. It made a kid cover his ears on the ride home and traffic moves out your way as they can hear it coming! Going to try it with the baffle in as I'm not sure I can keep it baffle out and get away with it.
I have a race fit growler on mine, I have put a bit of a baffle in to give back pressure, it does no hunt so much on tick over, I have just made up a thermistor box to adjust the fueling.but waiting for warm weather. I am hoping this will give a little more mid range. Before this I had a 2002 R1 and it had far more mid range than my 2013 cbr, The racefit is loud but looks awesome you just need the right earplugs
I must admit a loud exhaust has its benefits, When I am going up the ring road most of the traffic pulls over to let you past. I shall put this down as my defense when pulled for excessive noise, It is a safety thing
Hi all, Anyone fitted a longer style silencer manufactured by pipewerx or Prorace? If so how do you rate them in terms of fitting, quality and sound? I currently have a Leo Vince silencer but it's too loud for trackdays - 108db with baffle fitted. Many thanks Carlos
Iv now got an austin pipe, will be selling the taylormade and carbon cover and arrow exhaust if anyone is interested
I have a 2008 with a Leo Vince superb sound plus it has a removable baffle when you really want to be heard.
Hi guys, As per my newcomers post I have recently bought an SP and it had a Yoshi twin can already fitted. It sounded amazing with the baffles in but now that i have taken them out WOW. Its damn loud but sounds amazing. It is so loud that when i got into work this morning at 5am a guy here said he could here my bike as I came off the motorway. He lives a good 15min walk from here and said that he was just getting out of bed and could here me coming down the main road haha. I haven't been able to find out any info on this exhaust anywhere on the net so if someone has any info of where they can be bought from or any info on them i would be very grateful. Heres a photo of the cans
I have a taylor made exhaust with the carbon fibre head shield that would fit straight on. Would just need a oxygen sensor plug to remove oxygen sensor. Message me if interested
I got a 2005 1000rr repsol blade had the standard exhaust on it which was pants so bought a second hand mivv with removable baffles and it’s the nuts
I’m still trying to decide as the stock exhaust is so quiet Looking at the Akrapovic or SC Project crt
