Ken, i Told you most of it was hair. Tia has been on a ten night stay at the cattery and was treated to a comb this evening. Not a good image her filling her face though I must admit.
Wait... Your mate has a can that looks like a cat? And he named it? Is this similar to when people find a cornflake that looks like Jesus?
Here was my little jack russell that I had Sadly though when me and the missus `parted company ` last year I had no choice but to put her to the dog home. My line of work just isn`t practical for keeping a dog on my own and my parents aren`t able to look after one either . Was an awful decision to make and i`ll never forget her face as she was whisked away at the dog home. Felt like the worlds biggest ar*ehole for it and it still gets to me yet Also used to have a german shepherd but she had to be put down after 9 years with her hips
Feel for you Ddc. It's one think to lose a mate due to bereavement, but to have to give her away must have been awful. Not much comfort, I know, but at least somebody's taking care of her.
I agree thats a tough one (It was quite easy to get shut of the first wife ) But a russell no way so fair on you for this posting as it must still be upsetting.
We have Louie a x Jack, Reg a x boxer/mastiff, Bob the red Persian, Bud the bearded dragon and some koi. A few pics No pics of Bob and bud on this phone, not cause we don't love them!
Had to do exactly the same a few years back for almost the same reasons with my soul mate, a x great Dane/mastiff. Luckily a friend took him, although in some respects this has been worse as I've now only been to my mate once in three years as cant deal with seeing him. They have been able to give him the time he deserved in what was a real shit time for me, so right decision mate, however hard it may seem.
Yeah the dog home were really understanding and managed to relocate her within 2 days to a couple who own a farm so I was a it relieved to know she would have a good place to go to
Now I know that there are dog people and cat people and I wont go into the pros and cons of which is better as I know you can't convince the faithful of anything otherwise. But I have to say, due to the large amount of gorgeous monster fcuk off dogs on here, I was beginning to feel a little a little bit intimidated on behalf of my Tabby Retriever, Bert, who is a quite small cat despite his chronic short bloke syndrome. Until yesterday evening, that is, when I went to the village hall for the local blood doning session. I was sat at a table, surrounded by people from the village, some I knew, some I just recognised and some I didn't know from Adam. (I'm not what you might call a social animal). Anyway, a lady whose garden backs onto part of ours leant forward and asked "Do you live behind me?" "Yes" I replied. She then addressed the others and said "This is Bert's owner". And they all stared at me and nodded in fear and awe. Even the ones I didn't know. I felt so proud of him.
We lost our cat 2 weeks ago. We think that she was about 15 (not sure as she was a rescue cat). We had her for 9 years and I really miss her. There's not wrong with being a proud cat owner kpone . The really sad bit is that I picked up her ashes today. I was in bits . Never mind eh, these things happen, you just have to remember all the fun bits . She was a barrel of laughs and a nutcase.
