    Definitely get a track bike!

What's the point of putting bling suspension on your road bike if you can't use the bike to its potential?

Any track bike is going to give you loads of fun. And is going to improve your riding ability. Even if it because you are not ringing the neck out of your pride and joy and don't care if it has a little scrape here and there. A lot of riding problems are in the head, and doing track days will overcome these.

Or better still......Sell the wife and kids to a rich Arab and have everything!

Secret Option Number 4 - Book a Ron Haslam Race Day

Seriously you won't regret it and for 295 Alans trust me although it seems steep it's well worth it. When I did my first one I had the man himself Ron showing me how to get off of a bike properly into the bends correct body positioning etc.. It was like a dream and I learned so much from it. I am going back for another one this year to hone my skills further so that I can do my SP justice on the track.

Track days are an addiction but given that you will sail well into 3 figure speeds you don't have the worry of checking your mirrors for bacon or worrying that some anus in their cage is pulling out of a junction ahead of you it's well worth spending the time on track. I still enjoy riding on the road don't get me wrong but if I want to have real fun I save it for the race track where the bacon can't do jack about it and I love that feeling.

Just my two pence worth in any case.

fair enought mate - nothing wrong with that. but it's easier to ride fast on track than is the road, and you can handle it on the road. only goes as fast as you make it buddy :)

I know what you mean but I worry I will get myself in trouble, I liked the power of the 600rr at donny on my Haslam day it felt plenty quick enough and I felt like I couldn't get into too much bother (well apart from one part I nearly came off!) shame it was like a mini Moto tho!

Forgot to say also you can get nitron slightly cheaper by looking at their cosmetic seconds

These are seconds because when they had things coated it has come out a shade lighter than is specified, nothing wrong mechanically

None of the above - use it to do trackdays on the blade. Dont be a big girlie. A few laps of mallory on your blade and you will realise how good they really are - out of the box. No need for ohlins etc. keep it smooth and have some fun. road riding is such a let down afterwards. your confidence will go sky high.

    Rear shock and shifter.

Trackbike is like buying a rabbit, dirt cheap at point of purchase, just everything that follows is expensive

Caravans are for fruit picking immigrants

Yeah, track bike will cost loads in the long run and it won't be much cop for that money ! Wouldn't worry about a quick shifter at this point of time and id prioritise on the handling ! Get a Nitron, get the spring done in whatever colour you want (you tart, but know what you mean ;) ) and get the forks reworked with uprated springs etc ! only my humble 2 pennies worth :)

I think you need some track time if you don't use your road bike on track so I opted for the track bike.

How much cash did you make from the sale? So we sort of know a budget to help find you some ohlins :D
