Just have to say, I have full admiration for some of the lengths you boys go to, just wish I had that dedication. I tend to use natural remedies like several months of chain fling to protect the rear end of the bike, and a liberal dose of road filth and traffic film going into winter to protect my pride and joy. Although I do clean the lights and mirrors on a regular basis, the bike still looks good and scrubs up well even after a good coating of salt and crap. If its warm enough over Christmas it may get a wash if not it will have to wait until spring.
Any time, any place, my shed can hold its own in the shite stakes.....and I notice Travelling Kiwi puts in a good shift on his 13 plate, not sure if he is trying to out do me in the car park grime stakes, although he has a disadvantage being on a black bike, tends to hide the muck a bit more, my HRC with gold wheels really can look sorry for itself after just a few commutes, really helps with the sympathy votes. Must admit though, boy on a ZX10 with the fairing missing, cut down front mudguard and wiring everywhere on the Commercial Rd this morning, looked well mean, pity the lights did not hold a bit longer, would have got his autograph
