I've been and had a look at the thruxton and it is calling to me. Took a trip thru today to have a look with a couple of mates and while were out one bought himself an HP4 carbon. Then when heading home another mate text me pics of the RSV4 APRC he's just bought. It might be that 50bhp on tap means that I'm buying the coffee all summer! Lol
The V7 is a cracking bike and a joy to ride. I used to sell them way back when! Up side is the cost of running after purchase. Handling is great even in the wet which always used to surprise me. Down side, motorway cruising is tedious and very uncomfortable. Mind that's easily reminded by avoiding them LOL I'd say go for it, you'll be surprised how quickly you can get the V7 singing through the bends. The slight wobble caused by the engine at tick over is very addictive once you get a feel for it. Just my pennies worth but got to say I do love the V7 Classic.
