Yeah no problem, weather permitting on the morning. I'll PM you my number. I hope Paul's not going to turn up on his bobber to Garstang toilets I don't want that sort of reputation
Its forecast rain early morning so hoping its dried up by 11am. Im going to suggest a 12 noon meet up time as the sun is out late afternoon so home for tea time! I always do early morning runs so a later start will be a welcome change
I'm happy with whatever time, you and Mark decide between yourselves and just let me know. I'm in contact with Mark on mobile now.
Had a quick blast down the coast to Whitby weather was about perfect proper cleared the cobwebs away only ruined when I parked up at the Whistlestop. In the time it took me to go in the cafe and get a cup of tea and come back out approximately 2 minutes some toe rag had nicked both my reservoir socks
Great ride out over to Settle and Ribblehead Viaduct! Good to see @Selmer50mark @Manfred and to meet @CharlieR85 No one told me we were going to a Right Said Fred Tribute Act audition though Felt reet left out having hair a tell thee !!
Making most of this good weather and getting the grin factor Stopped off a one of my favourite places for a brew and chat to strangers
Dud I ever tell you what a lovely looking bike that is @Selmer50mark ?? Which reminds me......where did I put them Team HRC stickers!!!
Had a grand day out yesterday. Went to work a shift down in Galloway but there were too many of us booked. Boss offered four hours wage to whoever wanted to just go home. Edge of Galloway Forest, naughty bike, packed lunch in bag, someone offering to pay for the days petrol...... Was not shy in coming forward. Little bit of this. Little bit of that. A lot of this. This is what I was looking for on the map and the area is spiderwebbed with single trackers. This was the best if them, some were hard to tell that they'd ever been tarmaced. ...but those were fun too. Obligitory stop at Loch Doon for lunch. Looks like a daft spot to stop for a break but it's a layby really. The road goes over a new bridge beside this one. Getting off the bike I could smell something rubbery. A thousand miles with no tyre clearance issues. When I picked the wheels in the first place I went for the 4.25" rim rather than the 5". Have been adjusting the chain every 150 miles or so and had done it the night before as I knew it'd be a hundred mile run... But it'd turned into a 250 mile day, the chain had stretched silly and been flapping about. At least I know that properly tensioned it wont get any worse. ...but still, oops! Reckon going up from 520 to 525 c&s is on the cards.
