2 Blades, a BMW GS, an old Ducati 999 and a 21 plate Royal Enfield hiding in the background.

To Ducati Manchester for the V4's service!

They'll kindly let me have this Streetfighter V4s for the day before relieving me of £260 :D

Hopefully you took the rear tyre down to the TWI to get your money's worth ;)

Unfortunately I had left the kids at home so couldn't stay out too long, (don't worry, eldest is 16 and was 'in charge' before anyone reports me):Dbut managed to get a few miles in that convinced me enough that its way easier to ride mine!! Riding position pretty much the same apart from the bars, I could definitely get used to it and would have one over mine, but not quite yet! Anyway I've got irons in other fires but that's another story/thread ;):D

MOT’d today with no advisories. Done just over 2700 miles since the last one - not great, but not bad for me.

After a false start this morning we ended up over at Edgeworth for a brew overlooking Wayoh Reservoir

And then on up towards Oswaldtwistle
Cracking views and not a cloud in the sky

First run out on the R1 today with @Selmer50mark, went out early to avoid the hottest of todays sun. Always a good run over to Settle in the Yorkshire Dales. Bikes great, no issues at all but Jesus I miss the quickshifter and auto blipper  loads of talk this crossplane crank, bit like a twin so I quickly realised I need to start blipping the throttle on down shifts.....not to mention pulling the clutch in!!! You forget how many times you change gear when you don't have to use the clutch. I could barely pull the clutch in by the end of the day:eek::D
Apart from that, great day out! :)

Not riding as had things to buy from the Bikey Sweet Shop in Boston. Got myself a new leather jacket and the missus finally let me convince her to get a new lid as her one must be approaching 8-10 years old.

She upgraded from a Scorpion Exo to a R-Pha 11 carbon job. Think it may be one of, if not the last of this scheme in small in the UK. Maybe next time I should set her a budget as this one cost me over 400 petrol tokens  Ok well, happy Wife happy life :D

And yes she is actually smiling!

Did the Bike Safe day with Lancashire constabulary at Chorley Fire Station - was totally worth it.
3 hours of theoretical workshop in the morning and then after lunch went out for a 2.5 hour one to one escorted/observed ride with Inspector Andy Trotter. A top bloke with lots of info and constructive feedback. Rounded off with basic first aid training, when and how to remove an accident victims helmet, CPR, use of a defib, etc.
The best £65 I’ve spent in a good while - would recommend to any biker. You never stop learning.
