Missed it at the time but just watched on YouTube - what a knob . I imagine the guards bandsmen’s (in particular) toes were curling in their boots
Went on an air ambulance charity ride on Sunday, about 200 bikes, first time I have been on a ride out that large before. But gotta say, keeping at 30-50-60 my bike was running at 92- 98c and my legs /arse felt like it was on ducati from the heat Came back with a mate on a different route at much higher speed and she ran at a nice 72c all the way But they reckon we raised over £3k so worth it
B500. Not on the blade though. We need some sensible pillion accommodation. To be fair, the CBF can fairly hustle along. Next stop Landeck in Austria where we will base ourselves.
Took myself and the Blade over to Felixstowe to watch some container ships dock. Gigantic things close up. Then it showered so bike got wet and I had a sandwich. A14 is a mess and a half while they resurface. Thousands of cones and no one working. Same old same old.
Timmelsjoch today. CBF has been a great albeit a bit of a handful in the hairpins. For a bike I bought as a work hack, it is turning into a firm favourite.
Stelvio - never been as bloody scared on a bike in all my life . Tightest hairpins ever (48 on north side) and Italian drivers
Red Rum meets Black Beauty - took advantage of the weather (and being off work) for a ride out this morning
Just a nice early ride. Be careful out there today, loads of farmers seem to have forgotten they are meant to clear all the crap away that they leave on the road by the field gates.
Had a run up and down the Cat and Fiddle today, looks a bit cloudy but perfect riding conditions really. Just warm enough without sweating your bollocks off! Found out that the Pub no longer sells hot drinks??!!! practically everyone that walked in there was asking for tea or coffee, the latter being the biggest selling beverage in the world !!! whoever had that idea clearly has no clue!! So had a Coke!
Been out for an early one this morning whilst it’s dry. Was feared the blade would have taken offence at all the time I’ve spent sorting the Tiger, but no. Still fits like a glove and rides like a missile.
I must of been on the dry part of the county when I set off to Settle, the return side was a wash out through Horton to Glasson Dock, bike was shit up when I got home. Washed the bike instead of watching the women's final. Shame they lost nice n clean again
