I’m gutted now came back and sore a couple of splashes on the sprocket guard and noticed it damp around the block
Ffs Mark you'll be growing a man bun next The only good thing about wendy ball final was the roads were quieter and full of more blokey bikers looking chuffed they weren't being dragged to the garden centre/shopping mall
120 miles of going nowhere and enjoying it. Tried a new to me road, looked good on the map and was good in real life...... except for the stupid 50mph limit on it!
No mate Cleaned it all down the other day then got told off for walking chain grease everywhere, had to clean the carpets And haven’t had time to take it out for another ride yet
Got out early as when driving yesterday the local cunstabulary were out for their usual welcome to bikers for the BSB weekend. On the road for about 06:30 and it was rather chilly albeit with the sun low on the horizon so it was looking like a nice day for it, but then the mist came down. Nothing to drastic but did reduce visibility for quite a bit of the ride outbound, and by the time I stopped for a coffee the jeans had more wet patches than the Post Office carpet on Pension day! By the time the coffee was drank and my hands had warmed up the sun had burnt off the mist, so the ride back home was much nicer, even though there was traffic by now with plenty of bikes out and heading in the general direction of Cadwell.
Went to Garstang toilets to meet up with @PauloHRC this morning and when he turned up I noticed he had a flapping issue so we routed out my tool and sorted it . All it needed was a 5mm hex key ,sorted . Set off on the Settle run , Paul had to do a stop at a cottage he stayed in recently near Settle because he owed them some money for burning some wood and breakages or something Rock n Roll , he knows how to party , anyway while he was doing this I had my regular stop at the public bogs . Got to Settle and had a brew and talked shite , loads of bikes out and a few unmarked police ones . Set off back the same way because its a brilliant road , stoped at the Ribble head for a recommended cheese burger (I can stil taste it now ) on the way home just managed to miss the rain then we parted and i nipped on to Glasson Dock for a brew to take the taste of burger away . Good ride out
Garstang bogs has never seen so much action!! Got some funny looks off the locals what with Mark with his tool out tampering with my flappy bit Anyway top day out and even better with the bonus photos!!!
What ever time do you go out mark Either early or the locals know your coming There’s never anyone about on any of your photos
Copdock Bike Show Ipswich. Great day out. Couldn't camp as we're away from this evening but well worth the ride over.
