Its the same when he meets me Bazza, I always tell its 10am start.......when we meet hes already been out 3 hours!!!

His Mrs has him on a 1pm curfew!!!

 

This year I was just telling lozzy I thought the opposite

Update
Went out yesterday evening and ended up getting a punture
But on the plus side back of the bike looks bone dry
Speaking to two mates from my local Ducati store they said they can’t believe it would be the gasket, probably a breather pipe
So my panic might be over

 

Good news for the leak then (it did sound odd) and whilst not great at least that tyre should be good for repairing

 

Let's just say he didn't stand out from the other 50 000 or so . I did wave but he wasn't looking.

 

They can probably sand that big chicken strip down a bit whilst they're at it too

 

Repairing
I have temporary plugged it with one of the sting stick things but I am going to get a new one

but got my missus to run out with a paddock stand for ease of doing it and a pump

 

Went to Whitby. Meant to go to the Whistlestop but SatNav decided it didn't want me to and took off on anothet route despite me repeatedly twlling it not to change the route. Some nice roads on the way there but traffic was heavy and limits were low. Also no-one ever warned me about them steep effing descents, not used to big hill these days.

Journey back was effing hot, couldn't believe it was September out on the bike with my jackets partially undone.

On the way up I think I got followed by an unmarked Beemer. Traffic was heavyish so was was nipping in and out as chances arose. Wasn't speeding, just using the acceleration, when I spotted the car in my mirrors. Did a couple more overtakes and they kept appearing behind me. Eventually hit a bigger traffic snarl up and if they were the boys in blue the only way they could have kept up was to go blues and twos. Guess I'll have the 2 week wait to see if it was plod and if I did in fact do anything wrong

 

Are you still riding the suzuki? I don't think the ticket department will accept it was capable of speeding so you should be ok

 

Whilst the Triumph Tiger is great and was perfect for me doing the NC (just IMHO - each to their own) the fireblade is still the one I love.
Had a run out this morning for a few hours, but didn’t want to go too far afield as it was threatening all sorts weather wise.
