Bloody dark this morning when I set off , spitting a bit too but roads were dry . Got to the bridge and nobody about @bazzashadow I beginning to think your right , they know I'm coming Went to Settle for a brew and met this chap Man's best friend, the dog goes everywhere with him . Cool
Mrs Selmermark says you hum this tune every Sunday when you get up All by myself Don't wanna be All by myself Anymore
Yes I was going to introduce you to him when I saw you in Matlock, but you were in a world of your own looking if anyone was checking your suzuki out...... which they weren't
Not me, he has hair Besides, didn't the judge warn you about what would happen if you were caught taking photos of men's butts in public ever again
Alarm went off at 6am but still dark so didn't go out until after 7am. Bit fresh and only had a short time to ride as had to get home to dog sit as she had an op to remove a tooth and roots this week after they got infected and caused an abscess. Went for a chilly but good ride over the Wolds, got a coffee and then rode home for 10am to watch MotoGP and WSBK.
Went to the Willingham Woods at lunch time and then then ride around the lincs wolds, I dont do early mornings... Was nice day, had warmed up a bit by then, nice roads apart from a some bloody farmers shit on them... saw a few cops out and some bikers stopped by them recorded the bike racing to watch later
Got out early-ish, later than normal though as dawn is somewhat later these days. Bit weird out and about, sun never seemed to come up so it seemed like pre-dawn all the time I was out, but it was much warmer than later which was definitely reflected in the number of bugs I collected on the visor. Road past Cadwell and waved to Coda, didn't see him wave back though Oh and farmers seen to have forgotten the requirement to clear excess mud off the roads
Run round the Suffolk borders in the sun, Warm, bit like early summer instead of autumn. Stopped at Walkers on the B 1065. Only 6 bikes there when I arrived, 25 when I left. Low numbers. Last weekend I counted 41. Mostly bikes, some were Ducati's.
Nice day had at cadwell today. Waves @Barstewardsquad Was threatening rain part through the day, I don’t know why we can’t predict the weather 10 mins ahead in this country Took a little diversion onto the grass at the gooseneck, managed to keep it upright though. Fortunately I only dropped the bike in the paddock
So, today was a decent day and managed a good ride round Cheshire and then up to Southport before home. Bike clocked over the 10,000 miles and still good as ever. Got back and gave it a proper clean and polish, as usual, but this might be its last outing this year (though with global warming who knows). Mind you if it’s only half decent I’ll be taking the Tiger out
Were you riding through Acton Bridge at 10:10 this morning? Gave a nod to an all black blade and thought it might have been you?
I was @CharlieR85 sorry but I never clocked it was you. Me and my pillion had stopped at the Leigh Arms to see the Steam Engines. A bloke I served my apprenticeship with (he’s Fred Dibnah’s love child I’m sure) had his there and another exapprentice was on hand giving him a lift. Proper engineering from days gone bye. this photo was him and his engine last year at the same venue
