if they fit I will get them painted mine are all black. Paint code for white does not seem to change. One of my friends is a sprayer and is used to using these two stage paints so I can get them painted for price of the paint if they fit fingers crossed if not the will go on ebay. I want hugger cowel tail tidy and silencer and rear sets I wont change anything else. I think you will regret it if you dont get the new one, I loved my 2010 but the black paint marked really easy and it really annoyed me. The pearl white will be much easier to keep prestine. I just saw the clocks the suspension and liked the colour scheme. I bought mine from dobles its a very long way for me but they gave me such a good price on my trade in a 1000 more than my local dealer.
It would be a 2012 for me, try Mike Day at bransons in yeovil as well, they did me a cracking deal on my HRC last year (lots of goodies thrown in) and I was very impressed with them and the service they gave When I was there the other day they had some 2011 left as well so might be up for a deal there as well
I wouldn't bother changing at all. Wait till 2013 till they bring out a nice colour in the bike and then decide. Or wait till a demo model turns up and try that out and see if you like it as much. I was thinking about changing up from my RR8 I drove the new R1, GSXR , ZX10 and didn't like them as much as my bike so I'm not changing till something has the WOW factor. IMO if you have to ask what to go for don't change. It has to be your decision as your the one riding it.
Don't you like the white HRC? I think it looks amazing. I do tend to agree with your other points but if i don't upgrade now I probably wont get the chance again. I always spend more than i can afford anyway, so why should the bike be any different eh? Won't be too many more years and i'll be too old or fat to get on a sportsbike so I may as well get what I want now and enjoy it.
I was standing next to Ray (honda Man) when you rang and heard the conversation about the blade and i guessed it was you?
2012 all day long fella, you will regret it if you dont 300 quid is nothing, Well, only about 60 pints of beer and you cant drink them anyway if you are on your new 2011, so you might as well use the extra money for the 2012. Job done.
It was the 2012 HRC colours that made me change. I bought mine from Dobles they did me a very good deal
ha ha....btw MI5 are looking for new staff, I think you'd be perfect. Deal nearly done now, unfortunately not with P&H which is a genuine shame as Ray is good guy to deal with.
Aaas it ok but I tought Honda would have done something new and special for the 20th. But in that case change for the 12 so. No point in buying out of date condoms to go for a ride with. Best of luck with your decision. Keep us posted.
They gave me the cheapest price for a new CBR600rr 05 when I bought one, local dealer offered to price match, so I took them up on their offer
I went to Dobles, got their best deal, then went to Hunts in Manchester, spoke with John, the boss, and he beat their deal
Hunts will always give a good deal .Its a no bullshit shop. and although small to look at John has a massive warehouse rammed with bikes .
Just sorted a deal out with Lings of Norwich. Rung Dobles originally the offered 7800 for my 11 plate HRC, Kestrel told me that was a good deal and l should take it. But then Lings offered 7810 : ) New blade arrives first of March.
can't beat hunts best dealer in the north west totally agree no bull just a honest good shop who know there stuff and been lifesavers haha I'll never shop anywhere but hunts for Honda stuff
Deal done and deposit placed for a new 2012 HRC....i'm well chuffed, never had a new bike before. Thanks for all your comments, a day of reflection and i'm pleased i went 2012 rather than 2011 as I think i would regret it (if not this year certainly next). So i now i get all these expensive add on's waved in front of me - do you want Gap insurance, extended warranty, Akra pipe, cover etc etc........very tempting but boy they add up. Anyone got ony tips on must haves? I must admit the extended warranty at c.£300 seemed good, particularly as it gives 3 years of euro breakdown cover too.
I would go for a nice can to start off with does seem very quite as STD Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
