bike/hps are doing a suspension upgrade with k-tech internals for 395 which is pretty cheap.

Picked up a 2012 rear shock on Ebay last night for £136.00, to be fitted to my 08 blade just before I have it professionally set up. Always gone down the route of Ohlins in the past but just fancied trying this much cheaper option and seeing how it compares. Heard some great reports on this latest rear shock developed by Honda/Showa.

I was offered a pair of BPF from a 2012 blade for £500 and while thinking about them the dealer sold them - to be fair I said I need to check finances and will let you know - I'll keep an eye open for a set / ear to the ground as some will turn up I am sure.

The new rear shock DOES make a good upgrade - just remember you need a new hugger for it from a 2012 bike

Can speak for the newer blade but my 954 was a completly different bike after i had KAIS service and fit and set up my second hand (ebay ) Ohlins rear shock, at the same time i had my fork recall done at a Honda dealer and got them to replace the fork oil with something good, then got the whole thing set up. So so different than before its like removing a set of ear plugs and hearing again !

put some Ktech valves in the front, they also change the springs to suit your weight too for around £500

as for the shock i'd go for a Nitron NTR track
