Rumors from silly season. Kawasaki thinking of leaving WSBK. Kwak and Honda want rule changes to try and level the field* Redding and Sam Lowes on vDS Ducati next season. At least one factory team with 3 bikes on the grid. *just like they did when they were dominant And just because we know the Johnny Rea Commentary Fan Club are <insert your own word>, this week's made up word is smoothended, as in Donington Park surface was re-laid and smoothended over the past year
Apparently there is a serious rumour going round of Iannone joining Barni Ducati next year as they expand to a 2 bike team. So if all rumours are true 5 of the 6 potential Ducati riders next year could be former MotoGP riders. Bautista Redding Lowes Petrucchi Iannone and that is without the no 2 at the factory team!
Redding was slagging the Ducati V4 off when he was on it , so pissed off to BMW which was a huge mistake!! He's slagged off Bautista for the last two years as well so if I was Ducati boss he'd be last on the list!!!
Sam Lowes confirmed on a vDS Ducati next year https://www.worldsbk.com/en/news/20... in 2024 Sam Lowes stepping across from Moto2
This is great news for Wsbk to have such a high profile team join the grid!! Their bikes always look the dogs bollocks too......maybe drop the maroon though!!! The article says 'expansion' so I'm presuming they're still competing in Moto2 ???
Spoiler: Contains Result Info Race 3, wow just effing wow. The battle between Toprack and Bautista was epic, shame it wasn't continued as my feeling was Bautista was backing off to recover a bit. Then Danilo doing Rea on the line, and Rea was lucky the line wasn't a bit farther or Bassani would have recovered from his earlier mistake to get on the Podium. To top it all off the Johnny Rea fan club will be having a large portion of Umble Pie with their obvious joy at Bautista's struggles this weekend
I think its Julian Rider once said "intelligently applied pressure" Recon the plan was to get him to run out of rubber.
Absolutely. The irony is that they keep saying Rea and Toprack need to do exactly that to Bautista. From what Pirelli said 3 riders had blistered their tyres, and his was the worst and that there was a "sudden deflation of the tyre." Awesome battle between them though.
Final race to be at Jerez after Argentina pulled out. Not surprised it is Spain to have the extra round. https://www.worldsbk.com/en/news/2023/Jerez to host the final round of the 2023 WorldSBK season
Iannone in WSBK on a Ducati next season. Don't know which team yet but the main man has said he will be riding for an independent team. https://www.crash.net/wsbk/news/1034643/1/ducati-confirm-andrea-iannone-worldsbk-2024
Hes been training on an RSV4 since his ban so let's hope he's still got it. He deserves it and was one hell of a racer!! Likes to crash into the back of people though
Rea's actually gone to Yamaha https://www.worldsbk.com/en/news/20...ar contract to replace Razgatlioglu at Yamaha
Nah, now he's a twat on a blue bike instead of a green one Personally I'm not sure he will do that well on it unless Yamaha bring something new to the mix next season.
Rinaldi has lost his factory seat to Bulega https://www.worldsbk.com/en/news/20...places Rinaldi as Bautistas teammate for 2024
