So come Wednesday, as long as you take a nice walk round the R1 before you ride it home @PauloHRC - you can go pick it up :)

Now I have something to hang the Arrow exhaust on with! Not quite @mk3golfcab quality standard but for 16 quid I'm happy enough with it. Wanted a carbon one but none available, R&G do ally ones similar to the one I've bought but at 50 quid?? Nah mate

I think it will suit the bike though, a lot of hangers were of this style back in the day. I don't want to put anything that looks too modern on it..... Original carbon one woukd have been nice but I could only find them for Gsxrs and not sure the holes are in the same position or I would have chanced it!

Seriously though, if they are slotted like that one then you have a chance, easy to measure hole centres if needed :)

So....... Tomorrow morning I'm setting off for Cannock to collect the R1. I'm getting slightly nervous!!

Not about parting with the cash or whether the bike is a lemon or not....... More about making the actual journey itself!!

I mean, am I actually aloud to do this journey or not? Keep hearing conflicting stories about what's acceptable regarding travel and I'm not sure if I'm in the wrong to be making the 1 and a half hour journey to collect a motorcycle?? o_O

I saw a transit van on the hard shoulder today with a cop van and and cop car pulled up behind him. Looked at it and thought...... that'll be me tomorrow!

Set me off over thinking things...... I am going with a mate of mine too (next door neighbour) who just happens to be the owner of a logistics company and we're using one of his Mercedes Sprinters with tail lift to transport the bike!

Does going with someone who doesn't live in my household put a different spin on things? o_O
