Looks like Toyota in the deepest shit!! Nothing there that concerns me, if anything it might mean there's a claim in a few years for dodgy emissions test like the VW scandal I'll counteract any emissions failings (if any ) with the Audi E-Tron that is also in the pipeline Bikes due in UK on the 6th!! On a side note.......how long have you been reading 'The Japan Times' @CharlieR85
Only when I can't get a Mainichi Shimbun Anybody seen that series on BBC iplayer.....Tokyo Vice? Well worth a watch.
Bikes arrived at the dealers......pick her up Thursday (weather permitting) will be delivered to me at home Friday if not
Time to run a book. In the next 12 months Paulo will: Do a passenger delete: 2/1 Repaint the wheels black: 4/1 Plaster it with stickers: I’m thinking 3/1 Keep it 11 months and exchange it for another bobber: I’m going to be generous here - 15/1 Kidding aside, I’m stoked for you. Hope you enjoy it.
Congrats on the new bike Paul Worth the wait. Stunting. Left my R1 stock with just an Akro slip on, and had body protective film (3M) covering the full front (not the fuel tank). The protection film was the best investment I made. Lets hope for this current weather monsoon to past soon, and enjoy sunny biking weather.
Thans @Spartan Andy , I've got an Akrapovic slip on in the garage waiting to be 'slipped on' and yes, looking forward to some sunny weather! Saturday all day tinkering in the garage will do for now though
Not been in to see her this morning but my full attention will be given tomorrow! What you all think, should I run the bike in with the standard exhaust on or should I just stick the Akra on now!! Not sure it'll affect it too much as its a slip on and doesn't involve removing the cat or any cables?
I did the Akro swap the same day I picked up my bike, with just 10 miles on the clock. Straight forward swap over, also let my bike insurance company know.
Fairly easy to work on this R1, pillion pegs came off easily and the tail tidy was a bit more of a faff has to be done!!
