Awesome write up mate, sounds like your really gelling with the r6 great results and keep plugging away. Amazing how much quicker you can go once you race ey.... God knows where all those seconds come from. Good job on the leathers too. Ha.... Hill 4 leather or similar will repair those no probs.
Mate you rode awesome but the grass incident was those pesky slower riders in front of us lol loved this weekend one of my best not for to results just the banter and of course both knees down in wet unbelievable ... Cracking write up YT
What wets you boys running on? Don't know if it was me being more cautious as crashed on my dunlops, but didn't get the whole awe inspiring grip from the metzlers tbh. They were brilliant don't get me wrong but not mind blowing like the dunlops first time out.....
Maybe it was donny? As it did feel a little greasy and is ment to be a little slippy in wet. Ill hold judgment till I try em again
Really greasy at Donny in the wet always has been people blame fuel off the planes but always been slippy I can't rate the racetec rain enough but has like tyke said was Anglesey just so grippy ?
Our guys are on Michelins, I'll let you know how I feel on them as I'll be using Metzlers on the practice day and a new set of michelins on the race day.
Fantastic weekend. Absolutely knackered. Came 9th in every race and banged in consistent 1.44s. Enjoyed my first time at donington fantastic circuit. Will update properly when I've had some sleep!!!
Sorry I missed you guys. I watched a couple of races before lunch. I had a quick look around the paddock but couldn't find you lot. Then it started raining so rode home and got soaked on the M1, couldn't see a thing. Lol What happened in the race before lunch? It was red flagged after 1 lap. Sounded like someone crashed pretty bad.
