Sorry to hear that mate had the same myself last month bought and exhaust was not even the same one in the picture ...sent it back after raising a dispute as well but had to pay the postage back... £7.00 of my money for doing nothing wrong .......i wish some ebayers would just be honest

 

Unfortunately thats gonna happen now and again . Paypal is your friend in these cases and the buyr protection has never let me down yet . If they decide a dispute in your favour then they give you your money back and the seller then has - that amount in they're paypal account . If they have withdrawn the money then they owe paypal and after a few weeks send out the debt collectors ..

I sold a bike frame and sent it un recorded and the buyer turned around and said he had not had it .. He must have ... anyway as soon paypal asked me for the tracking number and i said i have not got one then they deducted the money from my account . I couldn't prove it had been posted . End of dispute ....... Always send recorded delivery ......

 

Exactly right dan, send recorded! eBay is mostly good but do cover yourself. Ive had some tat and wondered how the seller could describe it as excellent condition or as new when clearly it isn't , it's very annoying.

 

Well the advert said used condition with a few stone chips, more like been down the road and re-sleeved piss poorly. Don't get me wrong I wasn't expecting perfection by any stretch of the imagination but I did expect a few stone chips to be just that.

No wonder he didn't take too many close-ups of the can. Emailed him last night and am awaiting a reply, if I don't hear anything by tonight I will raise a dispute.

 

I wouldn't bother mate .. start a dispute , Significantly not as described . Send it back recorded delivery ( unfortunately you will have to pay postage and you wont get your postage back for the original shipping either ) As soon as he has sighned for it and it shows as received on the tracking website paypal will give your money back and then its up to him to pay back paypal

 

Sorry but this has now changed.... once the seller has the item back he the seller has 3 days to pay you even if you have sent it recorded if he does not pay you back you can open a dispute.... ebay has 24 hrs to contact you about the dispute then they will contact the seller after another 24hrs they will give you there decision and you will be payed within 5 days ...........the only reason i know this is i had 2hrs 30 mintues phoning these f***** idiots somewhere in Pakistan ....seller had the item back up for sale and i had not been paid ..... this is the crap that i had to deal with

There is another way, raise the dispute with your credit card company, they just take the money back from paypal, Let paypal earn their bloody commission chasing the seller !!

 

Got a full refund last night for the exhaust, watch out for it on eBay.

Yes it is mate I have been mailing Tom and he gave me the quote just over a week ago.

 

I thought mine was cheap at £411 plus what parcelforce charged but that's mega cheap, I'd check it's not stainless with carbon cap

 

It's the real deal mate its because I am only purchasing the carbon can and bot the link pipe and cover.
