    And that's precisely why horizons are called 'horizons'. They are far distant, and like the mirage (which often figures in my imagination) are near on unreachable!!:rolleyes:

    Worst thing about reading these posts is, I thought my bike had all the mods it needed, suddenly it needs more. PS the gold levers are the £15 ones from ebay, fully adjustable all cnc how they do it for the money I don't know

    @nigelrb
    Which of the blades are you thinking of getting the paint scheme on? It's just I think that as lovely as the rcv scheme is, the pattern won't transfer fully onto the pared down sp2 fairing....if that's the one you were thinking of having done

    You can't be too old to remember the original Batman and all his comical foes...surely? :)

    Talk about take a thread off topic....Did you know that Cesar Romero outright refused to shave off his moustache for the role of The Joker so they had to try and hide it with the white face paint (not very well).

    If that's the case it's a real shame...means the cost is going to increase by about another grand to get a larger race fairing to accommodate it! ;)

    Well @Lozzy, you are well on the ball for a motorcycle chick!:cool:

    You are perfectly right on both counts; it is/was the SP2 I'm considering, AND only last night whilst I was sighting up graphics in my lounge room did I realise the fairing problem you've just described. I wondered about 'carrying over' the colour onto the black plastic infill in between the fairing and ridiculous silver cover plate. However, I am sure it would look like an amateurish botch job.

    @hitch offers the solution of course, but it's just not an equitable or viable option. I either by the real thing or be satisfied with my lot. It will definitely be the latter.

    Nah. I have enough trouble applying white pen to the 'Pirelli' on my tyres!!

    Worse though, I often plant a couple of discrete kisses to my Honda's rear end, but there's no way known you gettin' some of that action from me!:eek::eek:

    If it's any consolation one of the dealers did an rcv paint job on one of the older blades a couple of years back and as nice as it was, it didn't look half as stunning as the original.
    If you sold all your current bikes you could have an original rcv! Just think of the kudos being seen on that :cool:
    AND you'd have lots more space in your house....for some more particular soft furnishings.........:D

    Thanks @hitch. Have you noticed that's an old model - 2015 - 16?

    It sort of looks 'ok' but unfortunately, on seeing it in the flesh, it looks a tad pretentious. Think I'll go now and polish my OEM fairings!!;)

    Yeah, I don't like it. :(

    Like you said previously it looks a bit 'showy' without having the desired wow effect.
