Yes mate new chain and sprockets fitted, took it out for a good ride. Its hard work road riding it now, up and down the gears but it pulls like a train and no more 100mph in 1st, more like 60..

Avoid them mate, i won't be using them again...

I booked my bike in a week in advance as they're so busy, so i was surprised that they phoned me after i dropped my bike off to say they didn't have the required parts, they told me they would video my dyno runs, they didn't. Im still waiting for my dyno print outs as the printer wasn't working. I asked for 2 maps, baffle in and baffle out but they have only done one claiming that both give out the exact same power which i find very hard to accept but will get a second opinion....

In future i will use those that scooby and Daz recommended...

before i say this i know all dyne are different etc ,,,,,,,i know the drill
but is 172 low for a zx10 or does a running in period make a difference to a new road engine

I am told that there will be a significant increase once the engine loosens up..

I took mine with 128 mile on clock and a d212gp on the rear like a idiot kept sticking to roller 165 bhp I think or 163 took it back with a road tyre and 760 miles and 171.8 which I was happy with baffle in was about 3bhp different but he did say the map was quiet different ? But it's just lines to me ha ha

Funny enough he mentioned something about the tyres sticking. Im sure a baffle in and baffle out map would be very different, if i find that this is the case then i shall be going back for answers......

That said the bike feels great and once i get a few more miles on the clock i will be having a re-run....

well imo,a 4hp gain from a filter change+pc5 isn't a huge amount.the difference in power compared to baffle in/out wont be a lot (think about 3hp on my blade).the o/e map looks ok,as in it's fairly smooth, with the newer map slightly better, but theres no torque reading? wheres that?

oh and the tyre. basically the softer the tyre, the morepower is lost through friction,so a harder tyre,in theory will give a better (higher at least) reading on the graph.

1 thing to remember,or be aware of,is the fact that all dyno'd due to a lot of factors will read differently, but what wont be different is the fueling line, and the important thing there is it needs to be smooth with no severe dips or peaks, which yours looks ok.other wise you'll feel surges or drops in power at certain revs on the bike

Must admit I am also getting pissed of with them as well you will laugh at this

Found out at donny I had a 8.5 spring(more suited to a 9 stone rider on track I am 13 stone on a good day) on my new ohlins which I bought from them a few weeks ago I should be about a 10 spring I presumed they knew what they were doing when it came to sorting my suspension out .

Gets a call today from the owner asking me to a get the code off the spring as the place he got the spring from we're messing him about and he could get one from k tec so I said I would call him back after putting the phone down I was thinking he must be getting the ohlins spring from k tec when I rang back to give him the code I asked it was for an ohlins spring his reply was -URR NO it's for a k tec spring he wanted to put a K tec spring on my brand new ohlins shock:confused: I said you are having a laught aren't you so to say I am pissed of is an understatement anyway there putting an ohlins spring on but a bloody joke .

I've bought a van today so I'm now mobile with my trackbike... My blade was estimated between 175-180 but its not been on the dyno since its engine and gearbox refresh in may.. I'm going to book it into fw developments for a slight tweak on the custom map.. I'll upload the maps when they have been done.. I can't see it being as powerful as the zx but I do expect it to have more torque and more bhp than the zx10 up to abut 10500 rpm ish.. The Beamer I had mapped at Dynojet was 198 with a full Austin sytem baffle out and 194 Austin sytem baffle In.. The baffle defo, makes a difference to power as its restricting and holding up how quick the engine can expel all the gasses before it breaths again.. I toughs if anything the power seemed snatchy baffle out as opposed smooth and quieter with baffle in :)
