If you go back a page derchef says he posted a pdf version online. You could track that or if you want a genuine manual up to 2010, pm me for a price and pp. Its an 08-10 one incl abs.
Sorry another question My abs light flashes very fast There is no break between the flashes for there to be a code I am ready to bleed it I have followed the advise to put it in the mode to bleed but it just keeps flashing I have shorted out the green wire to the earth side of the battery is that correct? Please advise Thanks
Hi derchef Where can I find your pdf file please My fireblade is a 2011 I have the abs light flashing all the time My bike is stripped down ready for me to bleed it I have tried the other pdf file and it won't work on mine Many thanks Denis
I downloaded the manual from the post attached. http://www.1000rr.co.uk/threads/2015-fireblade-c-abs.28733/#post-402313 Thanks derchef
If you are specifically looking for a ABS bleed guide use Swiss T's bleeding Bible http://1000rr.co.uk/threads/help-bleeding-c-abs-system.23681/page-2#post-351307 Before you bleed look for the DTC error code first as it will you and indication of the fault. Much of the time it's due to air reaching the abs valves so a good bleed is a good first port of call.
uploaded nother time "Swiss" guide as old links are not more available http://www.filedropper.com/c-absbleednotesv3
The DTC is only shown when you turn off the bike, short the ABS connector and switch back on. Sounds like you are not even getting pass the pre start checks. Get the DTC and that will narrow you route of investigation
No longer have a Blade, but the guide I put together is still here if any use. https://www.dropbox.com/s/3ytel9ml9dcp94p/C-ABS Bleed Notes V8.pdf?dl=0
No not really I wouldn't let anyone work on my bike thanks I have fitted a 2014 ecu and found a pump fuse that was blown didn't realise it had 3 abs fuses, Have now bled it all as per instructions and all looks good, Just need to ride it to test it now, will update when I have! Ps there was a lot of air in the system
What would be the best way to test if my ABS has the same problem? I just got it and I have only done 30 miles on it and I don't want find out on track that it fails.
